I've been looking for a new man satchel. This is pretty slick:

Glad you like it, @rrhoover! It just went live on the site today. There's a really cool back story on the satchel as well. We're using the profits to help a man I met here in the US who is originally from Ghana, but was here doing his Ph.D. He graduated earlier this year and was in the process of moving back home because he felt an obligation to go back to help his country. He told me how his mother doesn't know how to read, but made sure all her kids went to school. He didn't have enough money to go to college, so after high school he started working at a school as a janitor. He somehow ended up filling an urgent need in the school as a math teacher and earned enough money to go to university and has continued his education since then. The school he attended as a kid is now 60 years old and falling apart. We're teaming up with Stephen and the local community to rebuild his old school with the profits from this bag. We're pumped!

@rrhoover it's a European carry all. (Seinfeld reference)
@EAWharton it's actually a green canvas thing with a strap. (also a Seinfeld reference)
@davismsmith I also noticed all the new jackets and other packs went live!!
@rrhoover Gotta get you one of their fanny packs. https://www.cotopaxi.com/product...
How can you not get behind folks like this. Kudos! The other outfit i was aware of that's in the same vein is: http://www.eaglecreek.com/
Thanks @AnujAdhiya! We really believe businesses can make a difference in the world. Here's a short video where I explain why we're building Cotopaxi and why we need more businesses (and people) doing good in the world.
This looks awesome! And love the name, I just biked down Cotopaxi a few weeks a ago. What made you name your company after the volcano?
@DavidSpinks, my family moved to Latin America when I was 4 years old, so I actually lived in Quito during part of my childhood and early teenage years. I used to go backpacking there with my dad. It's a special place that not many people have been to. I love hearing that you've been! I'd love to hear more about the trip! Sounds awesome.
The Questival (cotopaxi's launch event) was amazing. Great community engagement and the products I've got have been great.
@brockneilson, glad you had a great time at the Questival! We're holding another Questival in SF in October. Details here: http://cotopaxi.com/pages/questival. You should join us!
The most powerful thing to me too is the followthrough that Cotopaxi does for its social good, from great customer service to being the conduit to the charity being helped. @mitchellcandrew and I are damn proud to be part of the investor family.
@PE_Feeds - Thanks Sumeet! We love having BFV on our team. Thanks for all you and Andrew do to push this movement forward.
