Dear Sachin, Love the idea behind your product but bc I can’t DM anybody in my family, I am unable to get anybody to check it... serious flaw. Check my profile - I got 9 family members to sign up.... nobody is remembering to check in. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ ping me when this is fixed so I can try it again. Thanks

It goes beyond the normal messaging app and makes me feel connected to my family (who’s split across several time zones right now).

Congrats on the launch Sachin + Alex! Been testing Cocoon and so far it's great. 👍: - As a permanent do-not-disturb iPhone user the notification design is thoughtful and encouraged me to enable notifications for this app - Threaded messages work well - UI is welcoming and onboarding was quick - "Now" feature is great, steps and battery percentage is a nice touch 👎🤔: - Awkward iOS interactions with video content (tapping into videos pauses everything once the video is playing) - Bug with camera image capture, once you take a photo and try to review it before uploading it reverts back to camera - Only "hearts" for quick msg responses and no other emojis 💡: - Mixed media replies (reply with an image/video) within a thread - More varied quick response beyond heart (thumbs down, exclamation etc) - Quick poll as a message type? - IG Stories like feature for profile

Cocoon replaced instagram and group chats for me. My family in Texas and I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY multiple times a day. I've learned so much more about my family's day to day that would be impossible to catch up over sporadic texts or calls. Thank you for building this!
