I truly believe in the direction landbot is heading, enabling makers to utilise a bot without having to chose a platform is powerful. Using Landbot as a landing page will increase conversion as users will be guided by the bot through the customer journey. I am working on a product build with landbot, i cant wait to share it with the product hunt community soon. #Landbot1.0Pros:
Amazing product :) looks good and easy to useCons:
Integration is not easy, but i am sure the team is busy building a simple process for integration within Landbot.I have faith in the team :)
Brilliant product, excited to see where it goes. Fun to use if you enjoy trying to create engaging and human conversational flows. *nerd alert*
Two things I don't love: 1. Needs work for our mobile visitors. Looks zoomed out and far from optimal for a mobile visitor, a bad experience on this is worse than no experience at all, so a bit of a showstopper for me at the moment, for risk of providing a bad experience (no way of tracking or following this experience to check it's going smooth for mobile visitors, so a tiny risk to go live with if have lots of visitors on mobile)
Secondly, at the end of every flow on the freemium a "share this Landbot" button appears alongside a CTA to create their own. Obviously, I get it, it's a free product, do what you want. If I want to remove that, I can pay to do so. Just my personal opinion, and more feedback than a request, is that I think it's a bad time to "Hijack" MY visitors attention to market YOUR product at what is often for these forms, the critical moment, the end. They're at a decision crossroads. We've just exchanged information, i've taken them on this journey, and then BAM, you come and sweep them off their feet and they forget all the sweet nothings they and i whispered to each other.
My only point is, IF others have this gripe too, they might leave and not give the product a chance to become part of their paid stack, instead of upgrading straight away to remove this barrier to them. If this barrier didn't exist, (your branding is still on the page top right anyway), they may implement, become an active user, and give you plenty of time to convert them to a paid plan as you continue to execute and improve the product from now on out.
Keep up the great work.Pros:
The concept is fantastic. Really like it. Nearly perfect if you have a need for exactly this...I do.Cons:
-mobile optimisation for viewers
-Aggressive branding on freemium version
This is not what it was designed for, but I'm even using Landbot to mock up the flow for non web-based chatbots. It's so easy to throw on a page and walk through with clients.Pros:
Very easy to use. The new UI is even nicer. I had a bot up and running within 30 mins of signing up. Responsive team.Cons:
I'd like to see some more integrations, but that's only a matter of time.
The customer service is amazing. The team is really helpful. They have helped me with the technical aspect and let me know what functions are possible and what features will be added later.
The articles they write on medium are pure quality and they even do reviews of how other companies uses their landbots. This helps you understand the UX of your potential customer. I am looking forward to learning more about this product in the future. I am a huge fan of the company and of the guys that work there. Keep up the good work!Pros:
I love everything about the product.Cons:
I think the product would improve if there were more articles on the technical aspects. As I know there are a lot more possibilities.
I love this product. It allows to collect and qualify leads in a single step with a very friendly conversational environment.Pros:
It is a very friendly enviroment to collect leads and boost conversion throught landing pagesCons:
Onboarding to use it for first time
I just heard about their previous Landbot lunch. I wanted to give it a try now and I was really surprised: it packs easy of use with a fun varnish, plus customization options to fit your business needs.Pros:
I just think the product is awesome, it brings lots of innovations to engage in real conversations with your potential customers.Cons:
Still few people know about it.
Landbot is definitely one of my favourite services to play with but it's also mega functional. You can get started and have questions answered really quickly. Chances are you won't have any because the GUI and conversation builder is just brilliant.
Once you start playing with this you'll realise the opportunity that lies ahead for chat bot!
This only fell down for me on reporting, but to be fair I had a really niche use case for it.Pros:
flow chart conversation builder is great, easily get up and running with a simple bot in a few mins, great place to learn, great comms!Cons:
depending on your usage, reporting might not meed your needs
I tried first version of Landbot. Really is a new way to get leads and possible conversion. It is a fabolous and friendly tool that allow connect enterprises and users. Also Landbot can be used in marketing and customer support.Pros:
Landbot is the conversational revolution between enterprises and clients. A new way to get leads and impact them with marketing automationCons:
Probably it takes time to appreciate Landbot potential based on machine learning and user behavior
The teams here in my company already consider moving from typeform and use landbot for all internal and external forms. I also gave it as a recruitment exercise, so cool.
Also, what if you let us remove the landbot trademark for $1? I know your logo give you exposure but having my credit card can help you easier moving me from basic package to a pay package...I mean just a thought, I might be wrong...Pros:
Love the overall user experience, it's friendly, straight forward and I saw direct results using it for lead gen.Cons:
Well, really did not have any frustrations...for real! Even had a call from the CEO Jaiqi to share my experience.
In just a couple hours I was able to set up a fully matrixed menu that helps my site visitors better understand our offering. We will be using this on different landing pages to test both the marketing and the messaging.Pros:
Easy to use. Easy to Customize.Cons:
No free trial that doesn't include Landbot Branding.
I have use this bot on a project that basically needs a customer support 24/7 but doesn't have money for a call center, so I created a bot that grabs a customer needs and activates different automations. Bottom line, I increase the leads and the sales.Pros:
The micro interactions when the bot respond are gold!Cons:
Allow multiple respond messages so the user don't get the same answers each time
Still wondering where this can be practically used. Though I feel it's too early for chatbot based landing pages, though this could be good for onboarding/collecting information who are already aware of you.Pros:
Looks beautiful and does what it claims to doCons:
No logical sequencing in free version :p
Thanks for the landbot! It’s making life a bit more happier! Still have to test the conversion rates with actual audiences. Definitely a good idea and great work !Pros:
Beautiful , witty and easy implementation ! Best for landing pages! 😁🤘🏻Cons:
To use the landbot for any official use, the logo of landbot shouldn’t be there. This should be offered even in the basic plans.
We are toying with deploying this on several live campaigns that have considerable spend on them. Just seei how we can at some extra AI to he script and it will revolutionise our Customer Onboarding/Landing Page experience.Pros:
Really gets a 'bot' right and changes the landing page experience.Cons:
Lacks flexibility and very linear in handling at present. Many more iterations to come.
My experience so far
Sign up & onboarding
- A sign up form would have been fine. I know it's trying to showcase the bot, but a form is much more efficient and in this case the UX was hindered.
- Had to cycle through several usernames that were already taken. Don't seem to be used for a subdomain. Unclear why unique username required?
- No way to relaunch the "onboarding wizard"
Will update when I've worked with the actual product.Pros:
UI looks coolCons:
