By reverse engineering their sofa to ship in compact boxes directly to you from their warehouse, they cut out showroom / sales team markups and reduce shipping costs by over 70%. Their sofa takes less than 10 minutes to assemble, no tools required, and they are including things like stain resistant fabrics (you can see them testing it out), premium cushioning, and a hidden, built-in power outlet to charge electronics since sofas always block outlets.
