This doesn't require the flash plugin to work. It uses this as one of it's tests to see if you're flash capable, but it works without installing flash.
Note: This is a pretty sophisticated set of tests and takes over 10s to run (includes audio oscillator fingerprinting and installed fonts fingerprinting).
It's really interesting if you follow some of the techniques used by advertisers to fingerprint users who use adblock, etc.
