I don't want to be a "Debby Downer" here, but I don't think this can work. When I had my first child, it was tough, but I was able to study various parenting methods and things went somewhat smoothly. When I had my second child, everything changed. Suddenly there were two children needing attention, love and things like "food" or whatever. And, what remains most difficult, is the issue of jealousy. How do I provide *both* of my children with proper attention at the *same time*?
Box of Rocks seems to me to be a modern version of the "Pet Rock". I think it's brilliant. But what I don't understand is how people are expected to be able to care for multiple rocks at once. Jealousy issues alone are going to be a major issue. Now, you might say, "Mr. Zuber, these are not pet rocks, this is just a box of rocks", but that's basically saying "Hey, this thing that could be a pet is actually just an object.", which, as far as I can tell, is called "objectification". Not exactly the type of thing you want to be caught up with while launching a new venture. Good luck!

Hi Avi - you make some very insightful points. Giving equal attention to all rocks is important. But nobody is perfect - there is no guidebook for owning rocks just as there is no guidebook for parenting. You just get out there and do your best.

Hey there Hunters – so I created Box of Rocks out of a burning desire to change the world. After years of research we developed the proprietary technology needed for this to work and now we’re excited to launch.
In addition to changing the world, we think Box of Rocks has the potential to 10x the competition by an order of magnitude. We think our elegant product experience will delight users in a magical way. We realize this disruptive technology will make lots of major companies obsolete, which just shows that you can’t stop innovation.

@j_greig Hey James - in no way does this mock cancer. Cancer is referenced as a genuinely serious problem, and is specifically used to make a point about frivolous startups.
