I'm so confused - isn't this the same thing as popcorn time? Streaming torrents? I'm assuming it won't be legal also?

Ah I see. It's livestreaming. Not regular streaming.

@pimdewitte Yup. Live streaming. It does not run on the original BitTorrent protocol. We have distribution deals in place with all the channels in the service.

But what really appeals to TV people about this is that fundamentally they like the idea of fixed cost distribution. Follow-up question: How can a fixed-cost structure scale in the long-term for you when eventually millions are simultaneously watching these networks through your platform at the original fixed cost? There are only so many high-paying television networks, right?
