Seems really promising. But can it tell the difference between chugging water and a milkshake? It would seem the two would have similar chew counts and "gulp signatures". Very interested nonetheless.

@kckern BitBite includes a voice recognition algorithm that allows you to say out loud what you are eating / drinking and in that sense distinguishes between the different type of foods.
In addition, BitBite learns your eating habits, so if every morning you drink a glass of orange juice, BitBite will guess that you are drinking that in the morning...
