In the past few months, I've been watching & subscribing to a lot of Vlogs on Youtube. I really like this culture of sharing with a community, and being honest, and just ...enjoying things that come along the way. But Vlogging requires a lot of time. As someone who spends a lot of time listening to podcasts, I thought it'd be fun to record small life updates on a daily basis. Introducing Audiologs: vlogs, but audio!
@itibz neat idea. Do you have a specific goal with the audiolog?
@rrhoover Hey Ryan! Stoked to see a response from you! I only have a few things in mind: I really enjoy watching Vlogs such as @samsheffer's one and @caseyneistat's one. I love the idea of making something, and doing so as you build a community around it —like what you've done with PH too. I also strongly believe in @schneidertobias's theory that side-projects should be stupid (http://www.fastcompany.com/30323...) so at this point, I'm just trying to do it regularly, have fun, improve, and am hoping to make some new friends along the way. As I work from home, I also find myself listening to a lot of podcasts, so, to me, the Audio format makes more sense. Much less editing as well! What do you think?
