I created Asky as a fun side project to learn NodeJS as well as Slack integrations. Not only has NodeJS become my goto for development but this project also reignited my love of building. I've taken "build for fun" to heart and keep creating things solely because they make me smile. Hope you all get a kick out of it too.

@johnnyc115 I can't sign up. Seems like a JS error: "Uncaught ReferenceError: isValidFirstName is not defined"

@johnnyc115 This is awesome ! If you need more ASCII art character, you can check this old project of us at bullgit : The MoodIcons ! ( https://bullg.it/moodicons/ ) It's 2 years old, but you can find some really cool characters in it !

@agibralter So sorry about that. Working on a fix now. That'll teach me to refactor things before a ProductHunt launch. ლ( `Д’ ლ)

Love that these are popping up now! I've been doing this via keyboard shortcuts for a couple years (highly recommend that btw) Never thought of a good way to make them shareable. Really creative ideas from the PH community in this 'space' the last couple weeks. Hooray for "silly apps" bringing delight into random corners of the Internet /cc @rrhoover

This is rad: it's already on my bookmarks bar in chrome! Minor suggestion: I'd love to see more per page, feels like a lot of pagination.

@sholtaway Thanks! Interesting suggestion, pagination was one of the last pieces I put in. Wanted to make sure it wasn't too messy. Might have over-optimized ;)

Haha, these are fun. Reminds me of Donger List. "I've taken 'build for fun' to heart and keep creating things solely because they make me smile." But how is this going to scale? Why are you wasting your time on silly projects like this? Shouldn't you be saving the world? Great work, @johnnyc115, and keep making. 👏
