The day one of those things can actually "support clinical decision making" is the day we have reached the Singularity. At this stage in the game, third year art students have a higher statistical reliability in diagnosing illnesses than IBM's Watson. Unless ADA is significantly more intelligent than them, it's a crapshoot. As an actual health professional, I'd have diagnosed the lady in the video differently. I am sure you guys paid some doctors to come up with symptoms and diagnostic findings, so you wouldn't look too bad, but even then, I would have differently (and asked different things). Am I right? I don't know. All I know is that those questions are ill-suited to diagnose anything, so it doesn't matter.
@legerdemain Hi, this is Daniel, founder and CEO of Ada. Thanks for your opinion. From your comments, it does not sound like you have actually tried out the app. I would encourage you to do so - we appreciate constructive feedback, especially from trained health professionals, including paramedics such as yourself.
