Great product! Can’t wait to see what the next update will be!
I created Activfy to inspire people to get active. As it's the first version any feedback would be valuable to me
Too user-generous a data privacy policy for me. It basically states that the user voluntarily shares his personal health info (which is bulk collected into Apple health by the various apps used/integrated with it) plus all comments and anything shared in the app. The user is also authorising it to be stored in the US or anywhere in the world, on the app’s servers and also on its business partners, for a number of purposes (none of them very clear in the text). There is no way this is GDPR compliant, as it is now. I didn’t feel safe not even to try it. Big red flag.
@lyondhur Thanks for the message. A couple of bits of feedback on your comments above: "It basically states that the user voluntarily shares his personal health info (which is bulk collected into Apple health by the various apps used/integrated with it) plus all comments and anything shared in the app." The user has ability to specify what to share if they choose to do so via apple health permissions. We do not collect any data otherwise, plus there is no sign in gate to use the app so you can view the app without sharing any data at all. "The user is also authorising it to be stored in the US or anywhere in the world, on the app’s servers and also on its business partners, for a number of purposes (none of them very clear in the text)." This could probably be worded in a better way but for example we host in the cloud and data so cloud provider is our business partner - for technical reasons that might be anywhere in the world. I completely understand your concerns but the app and will review the privacy policy to make sure it is better explained.
