10 Minute Meditation is a lightweight analytics-based mindfulness app with a minimalist design. It's lightweight because it's only ten minute-long sessions and uses active tactile input as opposed to passive electroencephalogram recording (EEG); and analytics-based because it monitors your Thought Rate across sessions in order to help you hone your skills as a meditator. The active tactile input aspect is intentional as it helps bring the meditator back into the present with its visual and haptic response (and not everyone has an EEG recording device...) The primary exercise is focused on breathing and form. The app also includes a feature called CalmPulse that provides a calming haptic feedback of 60 bps upon touching and holding the screen without requiring you to initiate a session. It's Apple Health-compatible, too. Happy hunting!
