Hello everyone on Product Hunt!
Me and a couple of my friends spent a lot of money on beautiful form solutions because they are so useful yet expensive. So we ended up building a cheaper alternative in our spare time. Most of the core features are free and we only have a 10$/month tier for all advanced features.
Now we know that this isn't very original but we are in the process of creating something really cool that will leverage this form builder to enable people to manage users and workflows. But for now, we are launching this so we can acquire more customers and understand their use cases.
Happy to answer any questions!
Replaced a couple of forms on our website with Wispform over the last few weeks.
Pro:
- Saves a lot of money
- The form builder is really simple and easy to use.
- Ryan and his team is very responsive when it comes to questions and feature requests
Con:
- Still some missing features for some of my cases like localized language support and the ability to have different thank you pages. I hear they are coming soon though.
Our company Techbow, a programming bootcamp, has been using Wispform for more than 1 year now. We use it to manage our students' contact info and collect their entrance exam tests, surveys and monthly review etc. It has significantly increased our productivity and I highly recommend it.
Had just found this product on a website which suggests alternatives (I guess I can't name it here). Glad that you guys made it to Product hunt. This is the ONLY affordable alternative to typeform that I could find. Great work!
Definitely glad to see a product out there with Typeform functionality but at a much lower price. Over at Wing, we use Paperform which is much more robust but comes in at higher price than this. Where do you see the product heading?
@mmcspiritt Great question! Paperform is awesome, especially when it comes to setting up a simple landing page. I think we could all agree that there are a lot of these form products out there today.
In the short term, we have a couple of features that are heavily requested by our customers like more branding, language support, multiple thank you pages.
However, in the long run, we are working on a platform for people to build workflows around these forms without having to code. You can imagine things like user registration and management (login, email/sms/notification, requests and responses), spreadsheet-database, and much more. I envision that by then, these forms will be completely free and we will charge for the end to end product.
Looks awesome! Just signed up and while the interface and forms are similar to those of Typeform, I actually think I prefer Wispform.
Are there plans to support multiple languages in a single form? That’s a feature missing from Typeform and I’ve been looking for an alternative because of it.
Right now, in order to have a single form in 3 languages, I need to create 3 independent forms. Not terrible, until you need to make a change. Then you have to edit each form separately and repeat the change. And so on forever.
