Wipr - Block ads, trackers and miners on iOS and macOS

Wipr blocks all ads, trackers, cryptocurrency miners, EU cookie and GDPR notices, and other annoyances, so you can focus on the content that matters to you. It works in Safari and all apps that use Safari to display web pages.

This looks like a neat alternative to many blockers that already exist given that it's both on Mac and iOS. @mipstian what features do you plan on adding down the line to differentiate Wipr from other blockers?

@amrith not sure about future versions, but I think the strongest differentiator right now is that I explicitly say I don't accept any offers to "unblock" ads. Also, very few blockers on the Mac (if any) have no access whatsoever to your browsing data.

I paid and bought the product, but it doesn't work 100%, I have apps that still display ads.

@shiran_weerasinghe Wipr (and all Content Blockers like it) don't block ads in apps, only in Safari.

Previously used Better. Using Wipr to get rid of GDPR cookies.

Pros:

Finally getting rid of GDPR cookies

Cons:

Websites display ad blocker banner.
