Hello @everybody, My name is Malte, and I am the Founder of virtualbadge.io Our team is excited and proud to introduce our virtual badges to you today. 🎉🎊 With our platform educational institutions and companies of all sizes can create and issue virtual badges and certificates that are made to be shared on social media. Let me tell you a little bit about: 📖 The story of our virtual badges 📖 Historically our company started as a development agency in the south of Germany. When the pandemic hit Europe, we supported a pan-European event called EUvsVirus – a hackathon with more than 25,000 participants trying to solve the most urgent problems of the crisis. Seeing all the creatives solutions and the global bonds created, we wanted to give something back that carries this energy out into the world. The virtual badges were born. Within 3 days LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook were flooded by the badges and companies started to approach our small company with requests whether this can also be used for their courses, events, and even some webinars. Fast forward one year and we managed to boot-strap our team to 9 people that work constantly on our customers’ projects. With our self-service SaaS, we now want to make the badges accessible and affordable to anyone that offers great education or events to drive awareness and get more opportunities out of the exposure they deserve. 🥇About the badges: 🥇 We have one crystal clear focus in which we aim to be the best: 🥉 It is about how we create a SaaS that engages your participants and makes them proud to talk about you online with the experiences they made with you. 🥉 With constant improvement from customers’ and participants’ feedback, we achieved to become the leading solution in this specific field. 🥉 By now we have already worked with more than 500 customers from all around the world that issued collectively more than 80,000 certificates.
