Hey everyone 👋 I'm Don, one of the co-founders at urspace! Vanessa, Emily, and I started this a while ago out of the frustrations we felt around having to update our personal websites while trying to find a job in tech. We found that there weren't any proper WYSIWYG platforms that helped us convey our personalities, and we found that we were copying and pasting the same information from our resumes and LinkedIn profiles. We're building urspace to lighten the burden of finding a job or internship—an already stressful process for students and new grads. In a world where putting yourself online can be daunting, urspace is a safe haven for your history of work and growth to come. We hope you sign up and join the community we're building, we've got a lot of fun stuff planned. 😊

As someone who was recruiting for software engineering positions last year, I wish I had spent more time studying my technicals instead of struggling to build a portfolio that balanced both beautiful design and utilitarian function. Glad to see that someone has tackled that problem!

Super sick product being built by some really creative and smart people. Great way to spin up a portfolio, allowing you to focus on what matters more: developing your tangible skills and working on projects. On top of that, the team has been super receptive to feed back and has a strong understanding of the needs of college students looking for internships or new grad roles. Kudos Urspace!

urspace is a user-friendly portfolio website generator that makes it easy to showcase your experience and personality. i love that i can add a short headline and bio to help recruiters get to know me a little better past the usual oversaturated linkedin profile. i've been using urspace as my personal website while job-hunting this year and have had a positive experience thus far!

Looks cool but you should have a demo right away. Had to click to bottom to see other user's demos. When I clicked "See for yourself" i thought it was showing me a demo, not sign up.

@parag_r Great point Raj. We have played with the idea of having a demo product! Right now sign up is so quick so we made this less of a priority. (You can have a website in 1 minute!). I think maybe the "See for yourself" copy is misleading as well so we will get on changing that. Thanks for the feedback!

@rayliverified Hey there Ray. Pretty sure I just pushed a fix for that. If you login at https://app.urspace.io/auth/login and then click the circle/profile picture on the bottom hand of navigation bar. You should be able to link your Github from there! Let me know if you have any problems. We can communicate over email as well if that is easier :) don@urspace.io
