I just added my 26 letters. The video and then the onboarding are really neat.

This is totally fascinating to see and great use of a public/shared community.

This is pretty cool. The little info quiz at the end is smart. Writing on a track pad is retarted tho.

Super cool! (though the page weighs in at 14 MB) I wish you could download the font, that’d be pretty cool.

The "Explore" page is my favorite. You'd think the style differences between hand writers of different age and sex are more pronounced... yet we find that the strongest influencing factors of handwriting style are care and previous experience. In many tests of our handwriting style and customer validation, subjects ranked a certain female hand writer's style as "masculine" and "casual" ... this writer is a woman and we have clients asking for her "masculine" handwriting all the time! Also on the handedness of the "S" .. you may note that there seem to be fewer deviations from the normal S-curve in the left handed S than on the right handed S... in our experience, left handed writers are more prone to dragging ink across the page as they write left to right, so they tend to be more careful. As a result, these left-handed writers are more consistent and often rate as "artistic" PS. Our study is not (yet) statistically valid across the human population.
