I built 2 offline wellness apps that replace $100/year in subscriptions — here's how

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I want to share something I built out of frustration

with subscription apps.

I use meditation apps and journaling apps daily. But

between Calm ($70/year), Day One ($35/year), and

Reflectly ($60/year) — I was paying over $150/year

for tools I use 10 minutes a day.

So I built my own. Two standalone HTML files that

work forever with no subscription, no account, no

internet required after download.

🎵 Binaural Meditation App — $12 once

4 guided sessions using real binaural audio:

- Deep Descent — calm to deep theta

- Clear Mind — focus & alpha waves

- Into Sleep — drift to delta for bedtime

- Stress Relief — anxiety to calm

Guided breathing, ambient soundscapes, phase

timeline. Use stereo headphones for full effect.

📓 Innerlight Journal — $15 once

Guided morning & evening reflection sessions:

- Morning: gratitude, intention, focus word

- Evening: wins, lessons, gratitude, tomorrow

Streak tracker, ambient sound while writing,

all entries saved privately on your device,

export your journal anytime.

Both are single HTML files. Download → open in

any browser → works forever.

Calm costs $70/year. Both of these together cost

$27 once.

Happy to answer any questions about how I built

them or the technical approach!
