Hi Guys, I'm happy to introduce UI Check! It's a free app for you app designers out there to measure and doublecheck the spacing and colors of your prototypes directly on the device. You can load your screenshots and measure distance, angle, width, height and color codes without ever having to send it to your computer (Works on iPhone and iPad). I hope I'm able to make your life a bit more fun and productive with my little UI Check app!

@one_keith nice work. would like easier way to view full screen, option to drag and edit measurements in order to refine, magnifying glass to fine tune where to measure.
Patric Moeri
@tomflemming Thanks for really studying the app! Those are great points that would definitely enhance the product. I most likely will add the measurement dragging in the near future, for the others I'd have to rethink the gestures and navigation a bit.. I appreciate the feedback!

Will it be available for Web?
Patric Moeri
@rotemthegolfer I haven't thought about that, let me think it trough, could be interesting.

@one_keith This is what i'm using right now (http://www.rapidtables.com/web/t...) it's ok but I'm sure you can do something much better
Patric Moeri
@rotemthegolfer Yeah, I'm thinking a little Chrome extension might work nicely

This is so cool --- takes 5 steps out of the process --- and as a UI nut, this is something I'll use all the time

@samir_doshi Thanks!

Didn't try but sounds promising.

Love it. We are working on a new build for our app and I did a quick trial just now. Does save time. Will explore more later in the day
Patric Moeri
@ashutoshdabral Thanks. Any feedback is welcome!

Anyway to support the full screen

@wubin1987 You can double-tap to hide the button and stuff. You can also zoom in for more details;)

@one_keith @wubin1987 Great product! How do you toggle between rectangle and distance/angle measure? It seems that I toggled this, and I'm not sure how to switch back.
Patric Moeri
@kenbrian @wubin1987 Thanks KenBrian, there's no toggle between the two, if you hold down and drag your finger in any direction it gives you the distance and angle, if you double tap and drag it gets you the rectangle measurements. (longpress for color codes)

Great work on this, simple and to the point. And well designed. I like the points/pixels toggle.

Really like it so far. Couple suggestions – 1. Use two fingers single-tap & hold to start measurement with anchor point floated above fingers so you can see where you are placing the anchor. Can move fingers around to get it right, then release one finger to drop anchor and start dragging with line still floated above finger so you can see where the end point will be. 2. Same as #1, but two finger double-tap for rectangle measurements. 3. (This one is more just something that would be handy) Option to auto-extract color codes from any screen shot and have them be saved in slide out menu bar in a list with square pngs of each color that you can share via share sheet. Great little app!
Patric Moeri
@anodigital Uuuhuh, nice! That could work. Thanks!

Sounds interesting.. I'll give it a try!
