Twos - Notes, tasks, reminders, events & lists in one simple place

Thank you @kevin for hunting us! Hi everyone, I'm Parker, the creator and developer of Twos ✌️. When I was a freshman at Vanderbilt, I struggled with depression. As an introvert, I wrote my thoughts/feelings/experiences in a Google Doc, which helped me offload my mind and feel better. Fast forward to a summer internship at Qualcomm, and my manager suggested I write down tasks and accomplishments for future job interviews. I was writing things down, but my systems were slow and disorganized, which led me to write far less than I wanted. One night at a Padres game with my Dad, I envisioned a quick, easy, all-in-one place to write things down privately, that would also allow me to share some things to connect with my friends/family. I was so excited, I went home and started building "Twos" that night. Twos was designed around three core principles: 1. Speed ⚡️: To quickly capture and find *things* 2. Ease 💆‍♂️: So it's simple, enjoyable, and a long-term solution 3. Shareability 🎁 : So you can create meaningful connections with the people you care about In order to make all three a reality, I built a new technology we call "things." *Things* are the individual, actionable pieces of information you capture in Twos. Hi everyone! @parkeraklein's comment perfectly covers why we are so excited to share Twos with you today. My story is quick: For as long as I can remember, I have been diagnosed and battled with ADHD. To graduate from college, I would take prescription medication almost every day which made me feel almost robotic. My father (also ADHD) suggested that I start writing things down, both personally and professionally, as an alternative to meds, and it helped a lot. Writing gave me control over my mind and I would run through notebooks with random thoughts, to-dos, and even stand-up jokes. So when I met Parker at a startup in Austin, Texas and he introduced me to Twos ✌️ it was destiny for us to work on it together to share the benefits of writing things down with more people. That's how our journey started and we are so happy others have seen the value in writing *things* down through Twos. Twos feels like Bullet Journaling, Obsidian and Reminders had a baby. One that only takes the best bits of it's parents, make things very simple and adds just that little bit of accountability and structure.

@parkeraklein @twosjoe Twos is my favorite app to use every day …and it's fun to use Twos is different than the "productivity apps" I've used in the past. I've tried them all. Things, TickTick, Microsoft Todo, Todoist, Bear Notes, Notion, etc… only thing that has stuck is Bullet Journaling, except I didn't always have my journal on me. I did, however, have my phone! I use Twos every day to write, plan, and organize my life. It's the absolute best digital implementation of Bullet Journaling for me. With me having ADHD, I need something to keep track of things, so that I don't forget important stuff. Twos has helped so much. Plus, I love the community in the app and on Discord. Such fun people!

Twos is becoming very popular as a new light note-taking app.

I love that Twos ✌️ is doing something no other App is doing. It has a unique approach, and Kevin and his team are shipping updates ever so often. I would recommend giving Twos ✌️ a try for a few weeks. Then you start feeling what makes it so quick and easy. I would love to have a somewhat bigger typography, but besides that, Twos ✌️ is such a great companion. I can highly recommend it.

Super excited to witness the PH launch of one of my most used and favorite apps for the past year and a half. Twos has helped me stay on track, and organized while keeping me accountable. It is my go-to app when I need to write things down super fast on the fly, as well as the first place I go to when I want to remember anything. Finding things I did last week or a year ago has never been easier with its powerful search functionality. Love the private first approach but I've also fallen in love with the community surrounding Twos AND the app's social aspect that came to life a few months ago, from sharing lists to just one off things. Excited to see where this app goes from here. Congrats to Parker and Joe for this milestone moment! 🎉✌️

How have you managed to build an app that integrates so perfectly into how I manage my life?? Is there a way to share lists and note spaces with others? My wife and I run our lives through shared Apple notes currently.

I can't even express how thankful I am for Twos, and to you, Parker & Joe. Twos does for me what no one app has done so far. I used to be really disorganized and could never stick to the same app to organize my life, which made me struggle to be productive and efficient - but that time is over. I never thought I'd find such an innovative app I could use as journal, a schedule, a task manager, a brainstorming buddy, and a creativity booster all at once. I feel like I've finally conquered the chaos of life with Twos. Highly recommend it! ✌️❤️

Everyone, not just productivity nuts, should give this app a try. It's such a helpful, fun, and easy to use app. My whole family is using it to keep track of their days (5 of us). Plus the Team behind this app is amazing and kind.

This is a great tool. I have so many things to do, I have multiple places where I'm recording stuff, Notes on iPhone, paper lists, reminders on iPhone and Google calendar. I love it when someone creates something that's already in my mind but they make it a reality. I'm up and running now, thanks for building Twos

I'm a die-hard pen and paper guy, but Twos is the first app that's actually rivaled my current way of working. Can't wait to see what's to come from them 🚀

What has been a game changer for me is how intuitive Twos is. I use it literally everyday to increase my productivity, and as a student who has struggled with procrastination, it has been super useful to help me stay on task and get more done than I ever have in the past. I have tried other apps but Twos has easily been my favorite because of its all-in-one nature. I don’t have to try and keep track of reminders, calendar, and notes in different spots. I also love how I can keep my school notes on Twos and search for things I want to review or study super easily and quickly. I’m excited super excited to see where Twos goes next and I’ll definitely be following along! ✌️

Thank you Parker & Joe for a great app. I have tried many different organisation & todo apps and systems and love how you have actually managed to innovate the space by thinking about how capturing all ‘things’ is the priority. I love how I can input and organise tasks, lists, calendar items. I appreciate the way it automatically brings unfinished items into todays view. I use it seamlessly between my iPhone and Mac desktop. Perhaps the best endorsement is that I am always telling other people to try it. Well done & thank you.
