Hello Product Hunt! I'm Jay 👋 🤦‍♂️ Problem Whenever I put effort into Twitter, I see my following grow. I had a few threads go viral this summer, and my following grew 25% overnight (now around 12,000 followers). But I often found myself deprioritizing Twitter... 🙌 Solution So I launched the #Tweet100 challenge in August 2021 to create public accountability for myself. I worked with Aron Korenblit at Automate All The Things and he helped me to build the first version of a public leaderboard using Zapier and Airtable. The Leaderboard has evolved quite a bit since then, but the whole thing is still automated with no code! In fact, the entire project runs using no-code tools like Airtable, Integromat, WordPress, Circle, Tally Forms, and ConvertKit. 🚀 Traction More than 1200 people have participated in #Tweet100, generating more than 35,000 Tweets and gaining more than 109,000 followers. 🎁 Offer You can join the #Tweet100 challenge completely for free. But for people who are taking the challenge even more seriously and really want to grow, I recommend joining our private membership community, the #Tweet100 Social Club! Product Hunters can save 25% on membership for life using Promo Code PRODUCTHUNT.

Cool product idea Jay! I’m actually curious about something and I think you might be someone who can point me in the right direction: Before I decide to follow someone on Twitter, it would be nice to see how many times on avg they compose new tweets (daily, weekly, yearly). Looking for tools that do this (free or paid). Any recommendations? Maybe this would be a useful statistic to show on Tweet100.
Jess Rohloff
@madebyildi Out of curiosity, what are you looking to accomplish here? I usually just glance at their Twitter feed to get a sense of this, and unfortunately I’m not aware of any tools.
Ildi Xhaholli
@jessica_rohloff I was able to find socialbearing.com by asking for recommendations on the r/Twitter subreddit. I think knowing how many times someone tweets on avg can help you determine if you should follow that account or not. Sometimes people provide value but also spam a lot and a quick scroll through their feed for a minute or two wouldn’t necessarily paint a clear picture of their avg tweet ratio. Also I think this type of statistic is good for social media managers when conducting analysis on competitors. It can help you possibly identify what is and isn’t working with a particular target audience. And if you do want to be self aware of your own tweeting activity, this tool might help you recognize good/bad patterns. Example: last month you lost more followers than all previous months and you noticed that you tweeted way more on avg per day.

What's the point here? Why do you need thousands of followers?
Eric Hornung
@bogomep I don't think you NEED them, but if you believe that our lives are becoming increasingly digital there may be competitive advantages to having more and psychological advantages to having a strong community of like minded people. On the former, here's two articles that help me frame my perception of "why followers may matter" https://www.eugenewei.com/blog/2... https://www.notboring.co/p/the-g...
Jay Clouse
@bogomep The real point here is creating the habit of publishing. Of course, not everyone needs extra incentive to Tweet every day, but you'd be surprised how many appreciate it!
Bogomil Shopov - Бого
@jayclouse why to build useless habits? Can you use the time to do something else, useful?
Jay Clouse
@bogomep I'm only helping people who want to build the habit to build that habit. "useful" is in the eye of the beholder, my friend.

@jayclouse fair enough :) Just saying that we as product people need to be responsible for what we produce. Nothing personal!

The #Tweet100 challenge pulled me out of a long struggle with burnout. It seems like a simple challenge at first… “One tweet a day? That won’t do much.” Then you start seeing growth. Then you meet new people. Then you see new opportunities. You’ll be amazed by what happens when you’re this consistent with a leaderboard to hold you accountable — or a community if you’re really serious.
Jay Clouse
@itskyleadams yessss this is exactly the path I want people to follow and experience 🙏
Sheila Gonzalez
I started my journey on the #Tweet100 without any idea of how to tweet. I didn't have the confidence to share my thoughts, and I only had 200 followers. My first tweet using the hashtag got me 100 likes. I basically went from zero to having a strong community by my side. In just 4 months, I increased from 200 to 5K followers, but most importantly, I've made lasting relationships along the way. I encourage anyone to try the #Tweet100 challenge because it's life-changing. One of the best decisions I've ever made.
Jay Clouse
@sheila_gonzalez1 you are such a powerhouse, Sheila! Your #Tweet100 story is one of my favorites 🙏

I cannot recommend this challenge & community enough. @jayclouse is the best leader and his vision is impacting so many peoples lives in a positive way. Since joining, I have improved my writing, gained followers (19% growth so far), made meaningful connections and am learning every day. My goal when starting this was to figure out what I really like to write about. By day 50 I was well on my way. My heavy rotation: 1. Pivoting & building a career in tech 2. Applying design-thinking to build better products 3. Finding creative inspiration Join us! Bonus points if you join the community, we're having lots of fun in there.

The #Tweet100 challenge was the writing tool that helped me to create more content than ever before - I was able to see what was on my mind by tweeting daily and what I was most passionate about. The daily tweet became writing seeds to post on other platforms. Also met a whole lot of other content creators!
Jay Clouse
@zulma it's been such a pleasure getting to know you through this challenge, Zulma!

When I saw the release of #Tweet100 I immediately joined for: - To grow on Twitter - To be more intentional about sharing content - To reach new people - To be held accountable - To join a like-minded community I've known @jayclouse for a few years and he's an expert in community building and made this free challenge super easy to tick all those boxes. As a data geek, I tracked everything and came away with 6 lessons (https://twitter.com/rezzz/status...) as a result of my experience from being in the challenge. I recommend this to anyone who wants to grow on Twitter and be intentional about their time on social media.
Jay Clouse
@rezzz you're crushing it, Jason. So grateful you're apart of it – thanks for your support!
Dustin Bakkie

I would 100% recommend #Tweet100 to anyone seeking to learn or grow on Twitter. It has given me - - Nearly 1500% growth in my first 3 months - Accountability to post daily - Access to the most amazing, supportive and wholesome community @jayclouse has been a remarkable coach. Everything he does adds far more value than it promises coupled with superb production quality. His podcast ‘Creative Elements’ has also been a huge part of my creative journey.
Jay Clouse
@vic_p this means a ton to me, Vic. Thanks for showing what's possible when you lean in 🙏
Jacob Miller
I've already completed the #tweet100 challenge and its not only helped me grow my twitter following, but its helped me get back in the swing of daily writing (which I used to do and lost the habit) and critical thinking in my work. The daily habit has inspired me to pursue a new product idea as well. Sometimes small steps, like a daily tweet, are just what you need to motivate yourself to take on a bigger and better project. I'm now doing #Tweet365 as an extension of the project to keep the habit going and keep celebrating those small daily wins.
Jay Clouse
@kineticbear yess love to see this progression. Appreciate you being so supportive along the way, Jacob!
Max Haining
