ToonSquid - A powerful 2D art and animation studio for your iPad

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 My name is Keiwan, and I’m very excited to be launching ToonSquid, a powerful yet affordable tool for creating high-quality animations on your iPad. I made the entirety of this app in my spare time over the last few years. Artists know how great the iPad can be for creating digital art, but unfortunately, animation tools have not yet taken full advantage of it. Most of them are very limited in functionality, quality and performance. Their lack of a proper timeline and layer system, missing vector editing and drawing options, lack of keyframes, unnecessary resolution limits, and low-quality and slow brushes make the animation process more difficult and tedious than it should be. At the same time, good desktop animation software is usually quite expensive and often limited to either only traditional animation or only vector-based workflows. Expensive drawing tablets make these options even more inaccessible to beginning artists. ToonSquid’s goal is to provide all the necessary tools and an intuitive interface for anyone from complete beginners and hobbyists to professionals who want to create beautiful art and animations and bring their artistic visions to life on their iPad 🎨 You can discover ToonSquid’s current features on toonsquid.com, and this is only the beginning.
