Timmy - Personalized spending suggestions to grow your wealth

Hi Product Hunt! Today I'm showing off an app I've been working on called Timmy. Timmy is an AI spending buddy. Set a financial goal in the app, and as you make new purchases, Timmy will give you spending suggestions to reach your goal. Why did I make Timmy? One of my economics courses in college discussed the lack of financial education given to those in developing nations. It got me thinking about what could be done to fix this issue. In a perfect world, everyone could have a personal financial advisor telling them the best way to spend their money. While this is not feasible, modern tools like Plaid and ChatGPT could be a solution. I set out to create Timmy to bridge this gap and provide accessible financial guidance to individuals worldwide. What can Timmy do? As a busy college student and sole developer, Timmy's functionality is limited. Over time, new features and improvements will be added to improve the user experience. Currently, new users will set a financial goal generated by Timmy. This goal is tailored to the user's banking account balance and spending history. As the user makes new transactions, Timmy will provide them with spending suggestions to reach their goal. Additionally, Timmy can generate monthly budgets and weekly tasks for the user to follow. Where can I see Timmy in the future? My goal with Timmy is to help people, regardless of their socio-economic status, grow their long-term wealth. I see Timmy becoming an essential tool for anyone looking to improve their financial health, making financial education and management accessible to all. Thank you for reading my post!
