🎉🎉🎉 Hi PH! I was inspired by all the awesome directories out there! They are simple, straightforward and we love them... so why not create our own list of productivity apps? We believe in providing maximum value so we decided to structure the content accordingly to the GTD (Getting Things Done) framework. It's a framework focused on getting organized and staying productive. It may seem complicated on the outside, but the end goal is to spend less time doing the things you have to do so you have more time for the things you want to do. In each category, there is a minimum of nine resources that we have curated. Not ranked in a particular order, in the list you will be able to see the resource front-facing interface, a quick description and a link to their site. There is so much potential in stacks all around the world. I am sure we missed out some great tools, what else do you think we can do to improve the stack? For me personally, I am really excited about making it open source and increasing the number of resources in the stack! ~Ray

@raylim Hi Ray! Congrats with the launch! I wonder what's your criteria to feature the tools? We've recently launched Y-Productive - a lot of people on PH admitted that it's arguably better than RescueTime (at least in design and comfort of use). It fits in your "Review" category just great! Do you plan to keep the list updated (and maybe even add Y-Productive if you like it)?
Ray Lim
@kyrylo Thank you! Y-Productive looks beautiful, congrats on the recent launch on Product Hunt! We do not have a fixed weighted criteria. Some of the criteria includes: 1) Good reviews on the ease of use 2) Search Volume (Familiarity to the audience) 3) If the app is constantly updated and iterated 4) Personal opinion based on product design and features Sure, there is no end to the list of great tools. As we are looking to drive maximum value to people on PH and the productivity community, we are aiming to constantly improve the number of resources in the stack. Drop me a message on why you think Y-Productive should be featured~ :)

It's always good to know the alternatives to your favorite productivity app. After a while we can all lose motivation or discipline and switching to a new app feels refreshing and fun. I really hope the collection keeps growing.

Pros:

Has a good curated collection of apps and the sections they are placed in are intuitive. I also like the short descriptions for each app.

Cons:

The collection is still too small and few more screenshots per app would be good.

Definitely Darko! If you have any inspirations or stumble onto a new tool, let us know and we will assess it!

Hi Ray, It's a nice list of tools to help , Do u have a section for developer tools , Like productivity for developers I hope you have a look at snipper a snippet manager in menubar. https://producthunt.com/posts/sn...

@achuthhadnoor Hi Achuth, nice snippet tool you got there! We are definitely exploring to add more tools category into the stack. Right now it's very much focused on productivity for an individual in a business. We left out quite a few functions, looking to add that in asap! Congrats on being #1 product of the day, amazing!

Good list, not sure if someone already reported this, but several entries are mis-linked. Example, the mac focus bar app is linked to brain.fm and the built.to app is linked to IFTTT. Just thought you like to know 😉

@chris_pollock Hi Chris, Thank you for spotting this. Amazing! This is why I love the PH community so much

Hei there, I knew most of the products in the list and I can discuss the stack better, however I did not know about Dropmark and I am using it now. The stack describer is pretty close to the one I currently use and have been developing myself over the years. So an upvote from me.
