While a lot of the tactics have become outdated since it's release in 2007, reading the first third of this book is the first piece of advice I give to anyone starting their career. The mindset shifts and business/productivity principles are worth their weight in gold, not to mention refreshing in that they are rooted in actual science (not something you see too often in the self-help category). I will continue to gift this book for many years to come.
Something everyone needs to know or remember about reading this book is that you must read everything carefully. Iโve read the book and I can see how people lay fault on @timferriss for negative changes in their life, such as depression, but he makes it very clear that the whole goal is to free up time to do things you love and find luxurious, which doesnโt mean lying on a beach for the rest of your life - it could be to start a business, cross off bucket list items, or put more work into somewhere you have always wanted to focus on. Free up time to find and follow your life purpose.
