More and more of our lives are becoming digital. We store a great amount of information online, on our social networks, payment info, etc... It's only normal that like a normal testament, these kind of services will start popping up to take care of our online presence once we've gone.
The first time that this stuck in my head was when a deceseased colleague's birthday came around, and dozens of people congratulated him on Facebook, unaware that he had passed away recently. It would have been really easy with this kind of service to close down the account.
The thing that concerns we the most is the usual: privacy. How secure is it? Are our accounts safe? Are my bank details safe?
What do you guys think? Is there room for a digital legacy management system?
