@dglbr You read my mind David. All of these are features I plan to implement/Am in the process of implementing. Trend aggregating & analysis would be huge but requires such an investment that at the moment I'm simply piggybacking from sites like ruzzit.com that I find do it quite well.
Hello hunters, Pedro from TTBooks here. Around 6 months ago, I became a bit frustrated due to the fact that I only discovered great books and talks months or even years after their release. Books like the lean startup and Nir Eyal's hooked only reached me when these frameworks were already in heavy use. As a result, I decided to create a community focused on aggregating and curating the latest books and talks for people in the technology industry. Everyday, we go through a huge variety of sources to find the best content and upload it to our website. At the end of the month, we look back at all the chosen books and talks and send you the most relevant and impactful content so that you don't miss out on any important new frameworks.
In addition, TTBooks is also meant to be an easy to consume source of knowledge and entertainment for startup founders and investors who, after a day of hard work can still be relatively productive by browsing our website.
I'd love to hear any feedback in relation to the design of the website and the actual content, so feel free to shoot me an email at pedro@ttbooks.io. I also welcome feature requests.
Hope you enjoy it,
Pedro
@jleebiz@pedromoorcraft Hey James, at the moment, I'm the only curator. I've been building up feeds and sources for the content for the past year or so and am strong believer in the power of curation guided by data (this article was a huge influence: http://www.newyorker.com/busines...)
I do plan to slowly open the doors to community submissions and discussion but at the moment my premise is that in the age of information overload a simple feed of content that passes my quality standard has some value.
@_jacksmith This is actually something I've been thinking about quite a lot recently. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if in the future I split up the website into two completely different ones. Anyways, hopefully, with the way I set up GA events, this PH traffic will give me some further insight into this :)
