Teamflow - Feel like a team again with your own virtual office

Hi! I’m Flo, founder and CEO of Teamflow (I swear we didn’t name it after me). I though of this when my team at Uber had to go remote for a launch, and we instantly lost our camaraderie and found it much harder to work together. Now with Covid, everyone has become aware of these pain points. Game nights or casual hangouts in the kitchen are replaced by awkward “Zoom happy hours.” There’s more friction to work together, and everything feels more formal and transactional. But we think we can have our cake and eat it too — keep the life-changing advantages of remote work, and remove all its downsides. We are using this product for some Friday now (does people in English say this idiom? We do here in Czechia haha). It helps to our team to connect in a different sense than in a meeting that has a direct purpose. It's important for people to have a connection without purpose, even more in these self-isolating times.

It feels a little bit awkward, but actually this concept works really well!✅ Used a similar tool for informal meetings. https://getmibo.com . Feels just like you met in real person. Price is a little bit high i think. Are there any trial plans?

As a fully remote team, we're always looking for tools that help us lower the friction for collaboration. We are huge fans of async communication, but there's a class of problems that a quick conversation/screenshare can solve much faster. Teamflow has helped us facilitate those quick collabs more frequently. Overall, love the product, and especially love the pace at which the product is improving!

Had the chance to first try it out a few weeks ago and tried it again yesterday. The improvements you guys did are amazing and I love the idea!

I have been lucky to try it, and it's fantastic how much friction it remove. Drag your avatar close to a teammate to talk; I like the mechanism—seeing where are people in the office, which one in a meeting, which one is at the kitchen available for an easy talk. Feel like at the office but better.

I've been using Teamflow with my students (marketing, journalism, innovation) since november and I'm trully enthousiastic ! Teamflow allows to keep them both engaged AND productive. They've been able to build an app (no code - via Glide) from scratch, working in separate rooms, then come by together and pitching the client, live from within Teamflow. It's a huge improvement in the way I'm teaching, coaching and building projects and, more importantly, living my work live, with my students, partners & sponsors. Well done Fl'o's Team and keep it up !

We have been using Teamflow with the CrazyMonkey team since the early beta. I've been impressed by how fast they build such a strong product. I'm wondering @altimor how would you define the perfect workflow between Teamflow and Slack for example? Are they in competition or should they be used together ?

Been using Teamflow at Causal for the past few weeks and love it — we're a remote team and it lets us interact much more naturally than on Slack+Zoom. I look forward to logging into Teamflow every morning :)

My team has been using Teamflow for the past 4 months, when we couldn't even add furniture to our office! It's been an amazing tool for our all remote team with 4 different timezones!

I’ve been using Teamflow with my fully distributed team since it was it was closed alpha/beta. The product has replaced annoying Slack DMs with quick high bandwidth and accelerated our team’s shipping velocity. Teamflow has been rapidly iterating and improving. Already love the product but can’t wait to see where it goes this year! 🙂
