I’m delighted to share a personal project with you all on Product Hunt. Taskly is a small, simple and joyful todo app. I’ve often used productivity apps that are full of bloat, paywalls and distractions, my goal with Taskly was to remove all this and go back to basics. It does what it says, no more, no less.. and of course, it’s free. I hope you all enjoy it and find it as useful as I do. Please reach out or leave comments on any feedback as I’d love to continuously improve this product. Have a great day ya’ll and stay making✌️

@_korza do you plan to monetize it? If yes, how?
Korey Hall
@nireka nope no plans so far, we aim to keep it free for as long as possible. If I were to monezite it, i'd likely add a pro plan with additional features that provide a ton of value.

Love the simplicity! I usually use the native Reminders on iOS and it works pretty nicely as well. But I do see the point of cutting it down to just the ToDos. Thanks!
Korey Hall
Thanks! @kehui_guo - Apple reminders is a great alternative to some of the products out there! 🍏

Simplicity in productivity tools is so underrated. Do you have any plans to expand Taskly’s functionality with integrations for other productivity apps, or do you intend to keep it minimalist? Congrats on the launch, Korey!
Korey Hall
👋 Hi @kyrylosilin - Couldn't agree more! I haven't thought much about integrations, what did you have in mind? Appreciate your support 💙

Congratulations on the launch! Pretty minimalistic product, I like it. How are you going to manage the balance between keeping it minimal and implementing the features that are really worth implementing for such an app? Great work.
Korey Hall
Thanks @semanser - Great question, balance is a tricky one when aiming to keep something minimal or simple. Going forward the current plan is to listen to our users and only introduce new features when an outstanding majority call for it, even then.. The goal will be to make the most simple version of that feature, staying true to the principles of the app.

Stumbled upon this amazing new idea and I'm thrilled! It’s refreshing to see such creativity in action. Wishing the team all the success as they bring this idea to life. 🚀

Looks really considered. A lot of the ‘to do’ apps I’ve used in the past simply do TOO MUCH. Will you be looking to add deadlines to tasks? Something I depend on a lot 😂
Korey Hall
Thanks @tommy_mason 💙 Deadlines is a great idea, if we can make it simple - we'll add it! 🤘

Does Taskly integrate with other productivity tools like calendars or note-taking apps?
Mann Abraham
Love it, quick customer feedback would be to be able to organize tasks (move them around). I like to start my day and see exactly what needs to be done first!
