Hello World, I'm a solo dev who built few products earlier and recently started #buildinpublic. As I document my journey, I wanted to post beautiful screenshots as few creators do. However, I couldn't find a simple tool for such a small niche use case. Instead, people use canva, figma, gimp, photoshop, etc to achieve this. As a developer, I always automate whatever I can automate. So, I quickly built this simple tool that takes no more than 5 seconds to generate beautiful screenshots with gradient backgrounds aka "supershots". I shared it with some of my friends and colleagues. They loved it and encouraged me to post about it on Product Hunt and other places. So, here I am :) I hope it might be useful to a few of you! Thank you!

@_skris Congratulations on the launch! Supershots is useful already and here are couple of suggestions to make it more useful - 1. Size adjustments for the images. 2. Adding text to the images. 3. Super cool! And given the reception of poet.so the other day, I think you'll do pretty well here on PH today! :) Would be cool to be able to change the ratio between screenshot and background. Otherwise, you loose so much screenspace with a color gradient, especially when sharing on Social in the tiny preview thats unfortunate.

Love all the gradient backgrounds! Looking forward to the extension and more simplification. Cropping screenshots is a boring process. Maybe, you van resolve that too :)

Being solo reminds me of my initial days of EasySendy and Aritic. BTW Screenshot ain't so bad, going to get rid of usual monotonous screenshots. I especially love all the gradient backgrounds.
