This looks like a blatant copy/clone of Arcade. From the landing page design, the editor, and the demos themselves.
Even the pulsating circle and the transition animations between each click was carbon copied.
I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and it highlights how awesome Arcade is.

First, let me give you a bit of background about me - I have built this platform purely out of a deep understanding of this space.
I ran an explainer video agency for 4 years, where my entire job was to create explainer videos for brands to showcase their products. We charged anywhere between $3000-$10,000 per video & spent 3-4 weeks crafting each video. I felt there had to be a better way & after numerous customer conversations, I built Supademo.
To answer your questions more specifically.
• A previous app of mine that was designed around 1 year back inspired Supademo's website
• Our app is built with TailwindUI components.
And If you think we are close to what Arcade is, I will take it as a complement.
@koushik_marka2, that's a great backstory and I don't doubt it. But are you claiming that Arcade did not serve as an inspiration for Supademo? Are you saying that you never once created an account on Arcade, played around with it, or looked at how things were implemented?
It's totally okay for you to compete in the same space, however, credit should be given where credit is due. If you're going to copy and compete with Arcade, at least put your own twist on it and not just do a carbon-copy of it. Integrity and honesty are good for your brand.
As for your previous app, do you mean Howflow? The carbon clone of https://scribehow.com?

While we are trying to solve a similar problem, there are 2 key differences.
• One of the main differences between Supademo and Arcade is the market we target. While Arcade focuses on Enterprise, our product is geared toward small businesses.
• Arcade is a bit expensive. We are 65% cheaper.
However, our product does not have team collaboration yet. Arcade does this well.
Overall, Supademo is very close to what Arcade offers. We are catching up and hope to become better in 2023.

I was one of the first ten paid subscribers to Supademo. It was exactly what I needed in the moment. I love that Koushik uses his own tool to demo his. Within ten minutes I had recorded my first demo and published it to Substack. Our dev team has added tutorials to our own SaaS app already.
If a customer has a particular question on a feature we offer, I create a special demo for them and send it off. So much easier than scheduling a Zoom call.

@markbowley Thanks for the wonderful words of appreciation, that means a lot. You are right - marketers using interactive demos on website to show ungated demos (more product led signups) & sales using this to show smaller features before demos are ideal use cases.
Congratulations on the launch! As a SWE myself, I believe this product has more applications than just creating marketing/sales demos for clients/customers. Suppdemo’s can be integrated into learning documents for ramping up new team members, trouble shooting guides for products/services where multiple teams collaborate to fix live site issues.
Will try this out for my team scenarios!
