Startup Modeling for Founders - Get your numbers straight and validate before you build

Have an idea and need to figure out if it's viable? Learn how to setup a model in Sheets, find your profit, revenue, acquisition costs, hiring needs. I've used this process to do several startups, including one which turned a $40k seed into well over $1M USD.

Hey Founders and Future Founders! One of the things I've picked up on as a repeat founder is what I call startup modeling. It's kind of like business validation, with a wider focus.. to make sure your idea will also be capable of meeting your own needs! Ever have an 'awesome' business idea and need to get it into a spreadsheet to figure out if it's viable? Want a magic crystal ball to learn some of the predictable future of your business.. by the numbers? I have, and when the modeling works, it's GOLDEN. I've created a mini-course with step by step videos and docs on how to setup a startup model using Google Sheets. I've used this process to do several startups, including one which turned a $40k seed into well over $1M USD. I made this mini-course to help other founders who need to know their numbers quickly, instead of waiting weeks/months to guess. I start with an empty spreadsheet and you see me build it bit by bit, answering questions and doing research as I go. We encounter problems in the model and solve them now, instead of in months. I do this in the context of a theoretical print-on-demand tshirt/hoodie business. In the mini-course, which takes 2-3 hours, we go over a lot of ground FAST: - Is your idea a good one? - When/if it will be profitable? - Customer acquisition costs - Hiring plan and timeline - Paying yourself - Launch timeline and cost - Marketing and conversions - Goals and targets - Revenue streams - How to price things - Where to spend your time - Investment needs -The path to your dreams The outcome of this course is a WORKING spreadsheet model of your business. The course comes with the full spreadsheet as well, step by step and finalized versions. When you're done, you'll know if you have a hit or a miss on your hands, how far it can go, and what the major numbers are you can include in your pitch deck for investors or for recruiting a team around you. It's $29 now as the launch price, will go to $79 a few days after the PH launch in early December.
