Hey there Product Hunt puzzle lovers! 🧩 I'm excited to share my new daily word game, Squeezy! Will Shortz of the New York Times calls me a "professional puzzle-maker," but more than anything I just love entertaining and challenging as many people as possible, just to see the smiles. After 15 years of publishing hundreds of crosswords and several puzzle books, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to engage fellow word lovers. That's where Squeezy comes in! This past year, I've been captivated by the magic of word transformation. Imagine watching RUBES glitter as RUBIES, or BORED morph into BOTHERED. There's something mesmerizing about it, right? As I explored this concept, I found myself marveling at quirky transformations like BOOM into BOREDOM, or the colorful shift from COAT to COBALT. Before I knew it, I had a full year of Squeezy puzzles ready to go! What makes Squeezy special is its fresh take on wordplay. It's a fun way to flex your vocabulary muscles and see language in a new light. Whether you're a puzzle aficionado or just looking for a quick mental challenge, I think you'll find Squeezy both entertaining and rewarding. Come back every day for a new puzzle!

Squeezy looks like a great daily challenge for word game enthusiasts. How do the Breezy and Wheezy modes differ in terms of gameplay difficulty? I'd love to hear about some of the most challenging puzzles you've created so far. P.S. Sorry your product was not featured 😔

@kyrylosilin Wheezy has an extra tile that doesn't get used! Tricksy. Thanks for playing!

i love this daily game and recommend it often. my favorite part is that whenever i can't guess the theme, it turns out to be a really sideways pun that makes me laugh. it's like a special prize for finding all the answers. seeing words in new ways and noticing words within words, this game is a ton of fun!

@jean_benson I felt the same way. You expect it to be a simple game, but there's so many creative dimensions to it.

I’ve been playing Squeezy for several weeks now… I love to pop on and play in “Breezy” mode as part of a quick morning workout. I enjoy it most when I play it like a word scramble and try to decode the letters before figuring out where to “squeeze” them into the words. I’m also a longtime fan of Jeff Chen’s contributions to the NYT crosswording community. He’s a masterful puzzlemaker and a tremendous mentor for countless new constructors. Coming from Mr Chen, it’s no surprise that Squeezy would rank right up there with the best of the “daily games”.
