@rrhoover I use amazon Music for one simple reason. It sounds better than all the other standard streaming services. I can’t explain why, but from my 10 years in the music industry, my ears tell me it’s the best sounding of the non-hifi options. There playlists and radio is really bad though lol.

ok, I read this is an experiment... running for 1 year... but why not making it available in Europe, where Spotify has more subscribers? IP rights issues?

Spotify is hands-down my favourite music streaming service. I wish this was available on the Indian App Store. Utilising the huge user base would be a goldmine of data! 😬

It's great to see how certain habits are identified and can even result in an entirely new app being built. Love the interactions on the app and with discovery being the main focus, I can't wait to see how this grows

@pregenun they started testing this on Android in a few regions last year. Now it's available on iOS in the US app store :)

This is great for the use case of quickly finding some background music when you want to focus on work. It encourages you to quickly choose something. While the main app has lots of choices, more than you want when you want to just put something on and get on with your task. I like how Spotify is focusing on enabling a user to choose between a few personalized mixes (like the Daily Mixes) without having to manage playlists.
