SpotAngels - Never get a parking ticket again 🙅

Hi guys, I am Hamza from Spot Angels. Thank you Rafe for sharing the love. Glad to see that you like the app. We are now in 18 US cities and plan to be in 30 US cities by the end of the year.

Cool app for people in Francisco, Seattle, Santa Monica and New York City. Reminds you to move your car before you get towed or get a ticket due to things like street cleaning. If you have a GPS dongle in your car (like a Mojio), it sets the alerts automatically when you park. I've been using it, it works almost all the time.

It would be great if you could expand this to the UK and show things like parking times, warning when you've parked there for the maximum time (e.g 10 minutes until you need to move your car)

Update: Since I hunted this product a while ago, the guys added a new feature in which it can tell when you park by watching when you car's Bluetooth turns off. No OBD dongle needed anymore. Works great.

Any plans for other countries?

Also, you do have to hope that someone has identified all the different street parking regulations. If it doesn't know or is incorrect, you update via photo and they will correct it quickly.

Pros:

automatically knows you've parked the car and sets the reminder

Cons:

can be confused by multiple bluetooths. nasty sounding alarm. doesn't connect to a mapping ap to give you turn by turn directions to car.
