Hi everyone! I'm Adam, co-founder of Specific πŸ‘‹ All of us can totally make an awesome product, but if it doesn't solve a problem that people actually have, it's pretty much useless (we've all been there, right? πŸ’ͺπŸ˜…). We've built a tool that helps you figure out what you should actually be building. It's all about focusing on what truly benefits your business πŸ“ˆ. πŸ’ͺ Power feature πŸ’ͺ You can select a text in user feedback and link it to a feature of your product, and you can do this multiple times. This is especially great for notes from interviews (user testing, sales, product discovery, etc.). The feedback is then grouped around each topic, allowing you to identify patterns and define the real problems behind feature requests. Here's everything you can do: πŸš€ Centralize feedback πŸš€ Link parts of user feedback to problems of your product πŸš€ Link problems to projects (solutions/features) πŸš€ Collaborate async or real time πŸš€ Decision making (RICE scoring system) πŸš€ Integrate with your stack (seamlessly with Linear, others soon) πŸš€ Aaaaaaaaand more! We hope this will help you all to build amazing products! And yeah, we will totally welcome any feedback! Enjoy! PS: we are already working on API and automating the processing with a combination of AIs. So stay tuned! 🀞

Nice! Good job! Are you planning to integrate GPT-4 to automatically recognize already described features from backlog in notes from the interview? Could be helpful.
Adam Sabla
@michallangmajer Thanks!! Yes, we're already working on it :)
Marcel Klimo
@michallangmajer @adam_sabla Very curious about how you are going to work in GPT-4. Looking forward to checking it out!

We have been using Specific to organise our user feedback. Our previous process worked but it was too unwieldy and time consuming. This is where Specific comes in! In Specific our favourite feature is linking bits of feedback directly to features. How do we use it? We create a long-form text with user feedback (think like a transcript of a call). Previously we needed to copy bits of feedback to the relevant feature requests. Now, thanks to Specific, we can link the relevant paragraphs easily to specific features / user asks. For my team @datamolino , Specific is the tool of choice to organise user feedback.

@datamolino @korkito thanks Jan! 😍
Martin Uhnak
@datamolino @korkito so this is the tool you've been talking about, very cool, I'll take it for a spin

Yeah! Nice Job. ✌️ Small feedback: When i create a new user feedback list, text formatting options could be a click away, no in dropdown when i have big screen. But I know you improve it every day 😎
Adam Sabla
@lukit_studio Thanks! Yes, you're right. We saw this during user testing, it's on our list :)
Johnny Seyd
Great job Adam! We are currently looking for a tool like that for our product.

@seyd Thanks Johnny!

A big cheer for launching Specific! It sounds like an absolute lifesaver for those of us who work with user feedback. I love the idea of eliminating guesswork and zoning in on what truly drives business growth. We're in the middle of our customer discovery phase, and Specific could be a real game-changer. Your demo caught my eye, but I've got a quick question. Can we link our Zoom or Google Meet for user interviews, or is it all about uploading videos?
Shital Gohil
@adam_sabla I am unable to type my response review page and hence writing here Thank you for your response. We're already in the process of evaluating "Specific" as a potential addition to our customer discovery process. Currently, our workflow involves conducting meetings through Zoom or Google Meet, during which we record the entire conversation. In parallel, we also use a speech-to-text tool to capture a textual record of the meetings. The objective is to have both versions available for detailed analysis of feedback later. Given this context, my query was whether it might be possible to integrate "Specific" directly with our Zoom or Google Meet sessions. The ideal scenario would be for "Specific" to capture relevant information in real-time during the conversations, thereby eliminating the need for us to upload the video post-meeting. This would certainly streamline our process.
Adam Sabla
@shitalgohil @shitalgohil Sorry for my late reply! (it seems I had a similar problem with my reply as you did, except I didn't notice my reply did not get posted πŸ˜…) Thanks much for the detail. Do you use the paid version of Google Meet? In that version you can get a transcript (in form of a Google Doc) right away. So at this point, you would be able to copy it there with a link to the video. You could skip the text to speech right away. But I dunno about Zoom. Its a great idea to integrate it! I'm adding it to our backlog. Btw check gong.io ...it's a solution for video calls & automated transcripts. Though might be an overkill for you atm.
Shital Gohil
@adam_sabla thank you for your response. i will check gong.io

It's very important to track and analyze feedback to make data-driven decisions. Might be useful for our product management, @simon_pfeiffer.
Ondrej Prostrednik
This looks very promising! Using feedback for product decisions always helps me stay aligned with user needs. Are you planning to integrate with existing customer feedback collection tools (zendesk etc.)
Adam Sabla
@ondrej_prostrednik Thanks Ondrej! Yes, Zendesk, Front, etc. We'll be finishing a Chrome plugin soon, that should handle pretty much anything on the web. So we will likely focus on API.
Matej DunΓk
Thanks for creating this tool! It is a must for every product maker to have an overview of what their users want and need. Do you plan to integrate with services to automatically populate the feedback entries?
Adam Sabla
@matejdunik Thanks Matej! Yes, we'll likely start with API. Now we're finishing a Chrome plugin that would let everyone in the team populate the feedback from anywhere on the web (Zendesk, Front, etc.)
Tomas Janek
That's exactly what I need right now. I hope it will be ready as soon as possible...
Karina Chauvet
well done, it always makes it easier to know what really matters to be able to focus all the effort. thank you very much, keep up the good work !!!!
