Hi Product Hunt! I'm Kaustubh Khade, co-founder & head of product @ SparkStudio.co I'm joined by @anushree_goenka @namita_goel & @jyothika. Between us we've worked at the best ed-tech companies in India - BYJU'S & Lead School; building product & curriculum. We're seeing that parents want: - Extracurricular classes that are available conveniently. - Teachers and curriculum of a high quality - Their children's minds to be stimulated - and that “My child gets personal attention!” With SparkStudio we are solving this by: - Providing online classes that require minimal parent involvement - Teachers are top-notch (many are performing artists) and curriculum built by experts - We rigorously audit our courses - Kids create in class & outside it - Small group classes enable individual attention + friendships! SparkStudio is built for every parent who wants their children to explore, express, create, build & gain confidence early on in life. Arts, Music & Communication builds strong foundations for a child to do well and enjoy all that life has to offer. And it works. We have a 98.5% attendance rate in classes & most parents are buying 2 or more courses. Let's tap the spark in your child :)

?makers Congratulations on the launch! Did this idea pop-up after the Covid outbreak or you were operating before that as well? Also, do you plan to organize any offline activities in the near future?

@adityavsc Thank you! We'd been experimenting and doing consumer research since before Covid was expected to be a long period of lockdown. We did launch in Covid time though. However, consumers clearly feel the pain points in a non-Covid world too, with a slightly different priority order. We will remain an online-only offering, even post Covid. We're solving the access and convenience problem, along with quality. And we're seeing amazing results on learning outcomes, engagement levels of students and parent satisfaction in the online format! So here's hoping we can make this a better and easier way to learn than going to neighbourhood providers.

@adityavsc great question. We've launched about 7 months back, but the courses we teach lend themselves to an online environment. We teach communication (debate, storytelling & public speaking), music (western vocals & guitar) & art (Stop motion animation, photography & painting). We're continuing to invest in bettering the online experience solving for parent's concern around access to standardized, online learning.

@kk_sparkstudio @anushree_goenka great stuff! Loved the stop-motion animation part in the promo video. I can imagine future content creators emerging from your platform 🌞

This seems great! I've seen way too many parents who have a hard time finding educational activities for their kids, especially in the last year and a half. I imagine this could contribute a lot to the solving of this problem.

@xgrv it's a real concern for parents. Most kids are also exploratory in that age group, so they love to try new courses and with our diverse set of courses they can learn to play a guitar this week and make short films the next.
