Hello everyone,
I am the founder of a blogging platform called Feather.so. People can sign up and create their own blogs using Feather.
Now, with OpenAI releasing their API, they made using AI so accessible for someone like me.
So I wanted to add a chatbot functionality to my customer blogs. I wanted to automatically create a chatbot for each of my customer blogs. That chatbot will be trained on the content on their blog.
When I set out to do this using Open AI, I thought I could do this for every website, not just for my customer blogs.
So I ended up creating an entirely new product called SiteGPT.ai so that it can be used on any website.
The workflow works like this.
People log in to the platform, enter their website URL, and click on a button to start training.
Then I start creating a chatbot and train the chatbot will all the content on the website that the user enters.
That chatbot now knows everything about that website. It can answer any questions related to that website.
I have also added a demo chatbot at the bottom right of the sitegpt.ai website.
That chatbot is trained on the content of SiteGPT.ai. So it can answer any questions related to its own website.
Please try it out and let me know if you have any feedback.
Thanks.
Congratulations on launching SiteGPT.ai! Your product will surely be a valuable tool for website owners and businesses looking to enhance their customer experience.
@pbteja1998 This idea is so cool! I have many users coming up with the same question (how is this and that) and I need to answer them personally the same thing every time. With this I guess one could save a ton of time. It's probably a game-changer!
Is there any possibility of also adding some self-prompts to it?
Looks very good! Congrats on the idea and launch! If a user chooses pricing tier "Essential" can he/she choose the 25 pages he/she wants to "scrape" and use for training?
Very interesting idea, congrats on the launch. But I wonder if training a chatbot would require a lot of effort. If the overall direction of the product changes, would it be very difficult to retrain it?
Awesome product! This can definitely be a game changer. Really curious to understand as to what prompted you to go with no free trial experience, which is itself a very bold move?
@pbteja1998 Just a dumb question here - Why don’t you setup your own model like Aplaca and use its API instead of OpenAI API
Again I don’t have the deep understanding, but with whatever understanding I have, I don’t see any issue. Your thoughts?
@matcha_anil I haven’t tried other similar products yet. I have already good number of customers. So there is a starting point for me. So I’m just going to work on what these people are looking for.
Well done on achieving top rated status on Product Hunt! Sitegpt has clearly struck a chord with the community, and can't wait to see where it goes from here. Keep up the great work!
This is really interesting. Congrats on the launch.
Though I'm personally having trouble: when I try to create a new chatbot (I don't have any) it says I need to upgrade. Is this product paid only?
@pbteja1998 Would you like what's on my console, then? My COO (Daniyal) can't use it at all. He's on an Intel Macbook Pro, running the latest version of chrome.
