I'm Patrick, the developer behind Simply Static.
I maintain Simply Static as a free plugin on w.org and worked the last six months to build a pro version with several feature enhancements.
The main question was: How can I make WordPress websites faster and more secure while keeping hosting costs as low as possible.
There are several Static Site Generators out there - the main difference of Simply Static is that it does not require any build setups or the CLI tools.
It just works out of the WordPress admin area and converts your dynamic WordPress website to HTML files.

Seems like a great product! One thing that I think could help:
if you had a chart comparing the page load time of another static site generator vs yourself. That could really help see the value you provide!
@between_team Hey David, thanks for your suggestion! I'm not sure if a speed comparison with another SSG would show the real benefit. Or do we talking about static vs. dynamic? Comparing with other SSGs, the difference would be the workflow as you don't have to recreate your entire website (as with other SSGs like Hugo or Jekyll), and instead, you only click a button from your WordPress admin area.
