SidePage is a simple tool to quickly create websites with a sidebar menu. Perfect for creating professional documentation for your projects. It's fast, and it's free.
Hi ProductHunters! 👋
I needed some documentation for my project called Serverless SaaS and decided to use my starter kit to build a tool for quickly creating docs for new projects.
Inspired by the Tailwind docs, it's clean and simple, and only has a couple of options to customize (like theme color and logo). You can use markdown to create the content of your pages and choose your own route paths. If people like to project I will continue to add more features in the near future.
Let me know what you think!
@anninh125@jake_prins I think almost startups need a blog site where they can publish news, feature updates, FAQ, etc (It takes time to build a new site). They need the simple, clean and modern blog site and its editor site. Imagine just select site style, customize branding, categorize menu and post.
@jake_prins I like your app! However, I'm trying to add some embed with video from YouTube, but it doesn't appear on a page... Is that a paid feature? Also, when I'm trying to add picture, it's the same thing (I've used public Google Drive Link).
@jake_prins@dimitry_bukrieiev Thanks so much! All worked! I know many people using Notion for similar purposes, but your solution looks so much more professional.
Idea 💡
It would be great to have a password protection feature for teams who want to use this solution for semi-confidential internal documentation (IT Help Desk companies, Accounting, Law firms, etc.) When opening the link, it will show "Enter Password". It should not be hard to achieve.
All best! Thanks again for your reply!
@jake_prins@rajatkulkarni95 Thanks! I'm not sure yet. I didn't do any research. It might because something different in the future, but for now it's probably just the styling ;)
