what's the pricing scheme?
Alex Putici
@kevinnatanzon I'm also curious about pricing. Couldn't see it on the site.

@kevinnatanzon Yeah, I'm not signing up for a trial when no information is given about post trial pricing. Too bad, looks cool.

@kevinnatanzon Starting Feb.1, it will be $10/month or $100/year for the desktop app. The android app will be free for up to 3 attendees.

@kmullett @kevinnatanzon @alexputici We are working on the billing and subscription part of the site and product as we speak and expect to have it available in early January. If you look at our FAQ, you will see that we reference the subscription pricing. How much does ScreenMeet cost? ScreenMeet is free for a trial period. After that, it costs $10/month or $100/year. ScreenMeet for Android is free for up to 3 attendees.

Anyone can sign up for ScreenMeet ,instantly get up and running. The app is required for anyone who wants to share the screen on their Android device, but is not required for those who only want to view — that just requires an HTML5-enabled browser. Every time you register for an email address, you get a dedicated URL (like screenmeet.com/producthunt), which you can change at any time. Presenters are given a variety of controls, including how to manage who accesses their “room,” which devices are being used, what’s being seen in the presentation, ways to kick out abusive participants, and more.

This is awesome! I've needed something like this for several years for a few use cases: Presenting on stage and showing a live screencast of my app, and helping customers with remote tech support. Definitely going to pass this on to our customer success team to use. Can't wait till it's available on both iOS and Android!

@ethan_anderson Thanks Ethan. We're working on the iOS version...!

Hi, I'm the co-founder and CEO of ScreenMeet. I previously sold a company to GoToMeeting and worked there for 2 1/2 years. While working there, I noticed a lot of frustration with that product. Specifically, it was hard to use and people got frustrated instead of amazed. ScreenMeet exists because of those frustrations. We wanted to make it SIMPLE to join a screen share instead of frustrating. Also, we wanted to make it easy to screen share from our phones. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
