Our app leverages the LiDAR Scanner in iPhone and iPad to create accurate 2D and 3D models and floorplans of houses and apartments. We're excited to revolutionize how you explore and understand spaces. Feel free to ask questions or share your feedback below. Happy scanning! 🏠✨

This looks cool! I was into interior design a few years back and this was something I've dreamt of! Having Room Scanner should make furnishing so much easier:)) Excited to try it out!
Jakob Grumsen
@kehui_guo I'm glad you like it! I already got feedback from furniture companies, who loves the app, because they can scan rooms in matter of seconds, which they then can go back and work with in their 3D applications.

Launching soon!
This is amazing! I always looked for something like this when I was moving in to a new place. Congrats on the launch!
Jakob Grumsen
@lakshya_singh that's why we decided to start developing the app, since we needed it, to scan a few apartments! 😁
Kyrylo Silin
Hey Jakob, How accurate are the scans, and what kind of device compatibility can users expect? Congrats on the launch!
Jakob Grumsen
@kyrylosilin the measurements on the scans are around 95% precision on walls. 😊 You need to have an iPad or iPhone Pro, with the built-in LiDAR camera, to be able to use Room Scanner.
Andriy Semenets
Congratulations on the launch! What is the average error ± in measurements compared to a physical measurement with a ruler? Thanks.
Jakob Grumsen
@semanser the measurements have a precision around 95%, so it have a super high precision level. 😊

Hey @grumsendevelopment Room Scanner: Can this app really use lasers to make exact copies of any room? It promises super fast scans, detailed room maps, and easy sharing. Is it a game-changer for home renovations and real estate?
Jakob Grumsen
@jpgohil93 We hope that, it will be heavily used around in the world. We already have some furniture companies, who are using the app at their customers, and then inserting different furnitures in 3D in their scanned room. 😊

Wow, this sounds amazing! 📐 I love how the LiDAR tech is being used to create such detailed models! Can't wait to try it out for my next redesign project. Do you have any tips for getting the best scans? Kudos to @grumsendevelopment for making interior planning so accessible!
Jakob Grumsen
@blankwebdev Ensure good lighting in the room to get the best results! 😊 We already released a couple of new versions, which also includes the possibility of automatically assigning an address to the scan. (Depending on your location)

Congratulations on the launch! The ability to create detailed 2D and 3D floor plans using just an iPhone or iPad is impressive. This will be a huge help for home renovations and interior design projects. Can't wait to try it out!
Jakob Grumsen
@enyi_bassey we would love to hear about your feedback! 😊

Is the pricing available on the website, or do I have to download the app to find out? And, Android Version coming?
Jakob Grumsen
@to_p the prices are available inside the app, we might add them to the website as well! Thanks for the feedback! 😊 We don't have any plans for an Android version at the moment.

@grumsendevelopment I have just tested this app. It is fantastic! Unfortunately, I was not able to save the «structure» (I think that is because of the size). Also, it is impossible to scan multi floor building (you should scan it floor by floor). By the way this is a great app, keep going!
Jakob Grumsen
@klimsidorov Thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, but I sounds like you're right. If you can a big enough structure, you might hit the limit. We're going to implement a fix for this! And for the multi-floors, it's already in our backlog, and will be implemented ASAP! 🚀
ken huang
This looks like roomplan from arkit
Jakob Grumsen
@ken_huang3 The app is using the RoomPlan SDK from Apple, but it's heavily tweaked and incorporated with our own custom code, to handle the measurements. 😊
