Hey PH! I built Resume Builder after watching a friend spend 3 hours manually tweaking his resume for a single job application, copy-pasting keywords, reordering bullet points, guessing what the ATS wanted.
He didn't get the interview.
The problem isn't that people write bad resumes. It's that every job description is different, and manually tailoring takes forever, so most people just don't.
I wanted a tool that does the full loop: reads the JD, rewrites the resume to match it, scores ATS fit, flags red flags in the job posting itself, and gets you interview-ready, all in under 60 seconds.

What started as a simple keyword matcher turned into 40+ tools covering
everything from blind spot detection to salary negotiation scripts.

Happy to answer anything — what features would make this a must-have for
your job search?

Congrats on the launch!
How you handle the line between tailoring and over-optimizing -do you help users keep the resume truthful while still matching the role?

Thanks! That line is something we thought hard about.

The app tailors how your experience is framed and which parts are emphasized, it doesn't fabricate anything. So if you led a team of 3, it won't say 10. But it will help you surface that leadership clearly if the JD asks for it, rather than burying it in a bullet that reads like a task list.

A few things that keep it honest by design:

- It only works with what you give it, no hallucinated metrics or titles

- It flags when your background genuinely doesn't match a requirement (rather than papering over it)

- The keyword weaving pulls from your actual experience, it just restructures and sharpens the language

I used this and its mindblowingly good.
I though I had a strong resume and this found all sorts of kinks and has made it incredible. I could also apply for roles very easily and filter out bad fits that I thought were good and vice versa.
