Search multiple websites at once with Resulttree. Write the search term once, and open some or all websites at once. No more copy and paste the search term on each websites.
Hey all,
I spend hours every day searching keywords on different websites as a part of my job. One day I was copying my search into yet another tab, and I thought “There has to be an easier way to do this!” So, I created one!
With Result Tree you only have to do your search once. That’s right, once! When you type your keyword, Result Tree does all the hard work for you by searching on multiple websites such as Twitter, Google, YouTube, and many, many more!
Do you have to search online pretty often? Set Result Tree as your homepage and you can search the entire internet in one click.
This is the initial version of the site so I would really appreciate any constructive feedback on the functionality, design, and usability, as well as any comments or questions.
Cheers,
Adam
@adamadams, out of the gate very good idea. There are a number of things that would make this a stand-out product.
- Let me click on all the places I want to search BEFORE executing. Then, do your thing and open the set of tabs with the results on each. That's MVP 1 and would be a material time saver.
- As others mentioned, go behind the scenes, do all the searches from what I selected and then one page of results in a meta-search fashion. This is a tricky UI/UX thing give various screen sizes but this would be super helpful and something I would indeed pay for as a tool.
Keep on coding, Adam, well done.
Love the concept. It could be better if it was able to do a behind the scenes dedicated image search on all platforms and display it to the user collectively.
