I like your product. Very beautiful templates. But I'm not sure about pricing... People have way more affordable options for their online CVs. And if they don't use your online version, you lose a great marketing channel...

@khannavid Hey thanks for the feedback Navid. I am still trying to find out what will work and what will not. For example, you can invite friends and get a discount for all packages except for the Publish package. By doing so, the price will drop to 1,99€ for the first package. Maybe I need to highlight the invitation function a little bit more 🤔 Nevertheless thanks for the feedback ❤️

Awesome initiative @gobie_nanthakumar and team! If anything of a feedback, is I wonder if the body font can be a bit more like Avenir-ish? That's just me tho, where I like body and header titles font to be slightly different. Plus, I wonder if your competitor is Adobe Portfolio? I know what you offer is much more than that but the pricey freemium model you put out might make people consider to take the "easier and free-er way" and update CVs and projects annually rather than monthly. Just my personal thoughts. On top of that, loved the animation explanation. Super helpful :)

@faiz_nasir Hey Faiz, Avenir is such a beautiful font, will definitely consider it, thanks for that 😉 This product was actually build solely by me 🙈 Regarding the pricing, you are probably right, the monthly price is a little bit high and I will change it in the next few days...I am still exploring on that 😊 I still have a lot of upcoming features in mind so you might see me here again in a few weeks :D

Beautifully executed. I had a similar idea once. Why not build an app that allowed people to share their work experience through an online profile that you updated on a constant basis? Then I figured LinkedIn does that, haha. It would be so great to live in a world where resume looked great and are uniform.

@sumitonit Thank you Sumit, means a lot to me 🥰 A lot of products do something that is already “solved” but I still think they all have their own place. We have Coca-Cola but there is also a market for Pepsi and for all the smaller brands. Different people have different taste and needs.

I like resume apps. However your page is SUUUUUPPER slow. I thought my browser had crashed. The little thing that follows your cursor around is complete overkill. K.I.S.S

@mickc79 thanks for the feedback Primer. I know that safari has huge problems with the landing page, not sure why tho, it’s not ne cursor because I already tried it without the cursor. I will investigate it tomorrow 🧐

@jessica_sarah1 Hey Jéssica 👋 You can upload a gif as a logo and I created the animation with HTML and JavaScript. Pretty sure you can also do it with a design tool like Figma or Invision. Oh and welcome to ProductHunt 😄

@adhruth_krishna_kumar Well, products that are free sell most of the time your data 😅 If I want to make a living out of it and don’t want to sell your personal data, I need to ask for something 😕

failed to import the linkedin PDF ... really don't want to type in all those details. What are the main benefits over something like https://jsonresume.org/ which is free, modifiable, and i control the data? maybe it's not a saas but it's pretty easy to run a SSG

@dcsan Hey David Sorry to hear that the LinkedIn import did not work 😕 We currently support english and german LinkedIn profiles. If this is the case for you, maybe we can connect to find the root of the problem? Jsonresume.org is awesome and open source as well! But to use it you need to know how to use the CLI and NPM or Github with gist. A lot of people don't know how to do that. Still it would be interesting to implement an import feature for the JSON file 🤔 Yes, I ask for 3,99€ once to have access to a visual editor and the design. Is it too much? I don't think so. But if this is too much for you or not worth spending, please don't. Oh and the site was not build with a SSG 😉
