Quizgecko generates quiz questions from any text. You can generate multiple choice, true/false, short answer and fill in the blank style questions. Simply copy and paste, add a URL or even upload PDFs, Powerpoints and more.

Introducing Quizgecko! After weeks of playing around with large language models, one of the coolest things I've seen was their ability to generate questions from a piece of text. So, I built a site to help others do the same. Quizgecko allows you to enter any piece of text and turn it into a quiz. For best results, enter content with plenty of facts in it. You can copy and paste, enter a URL or even upload a file. The AI will then generate multiple choice, true/false, short answer or fill in the blank style questions. I launched on HN a couple of weeks ago and got a great reception. Since then, lots of e-learning professionals, HR teams and teachers have found the product useful. Congratulations on the launch! I really like that you can try out the app in a few minutes for free, that gives a great idea of what to expect! As a former teacher and community manager, I bet this tool will be super useful to increase engagement & interactive learning!

@selin_anil Thanks! Yeah I wanted to keep any app as easy to try out as possible. I did originally have a higher free quota, but unfortunately the AI generations are not the cheapest, so had to put a limit in place.

Congrats on the launch James! I tried the service with a Wikipedia page. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan) and surprised with the quizzes it generated. This tool must fit very well with schools and teachers!
