Hey Product Hunt 👋 Have you ever wondered if there might be a more efficient way of creating a shopping list? I came up with QuickShop after watching my wife planning a grocery shop. She was envisaging walking through the entire store in order to think of things we might need to buy. It looked like hard work. To make things easier, I created a Master List with everything we ever buy, categorised by section. Now, when we plan a shop, we just scroll through the list and select the items we need to replenish. This takes a lot less mental effort. The use of a Master List has some major benefits... 👫 My wife and I have shared access to the list. If I realise we're running out of bread, I can search the Master List for Bread. If it's already selected, I know my wife already added it. In the old days, we would have ended up with duplicates on the list. ℹ️ Because the items on the Master List are reused, they can hold extra information such as grocery store section, price, photo of the product, etc. ⏩ When it's time to shop, we switch to "Shop view". This shows us the shopping list grouped by section so we don't end up zig-zagging through the store. The order of sections can be customized to match your store. I also added the ability to create Stores. This allows you, for example, to hide hardware-store items from your grocery-store list. I made QuickShop for my family because I couldn't find an app that did exactly what we needed.
