Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Long time lurker, first time maker. Thank you for taking a look! I'm a career motion designer and like many in my industry, I've been seeing big changes and slowdowns. After making the choice to move our family for better opportunities, we had to face some hard realities... We found ourselves drowning in "stuff", after 5 years in our house and 3 kids, we needed more money than we had available for debt and moving costs. When we decided to downsize, we faced a common dilemma: too much stuff, too little time, and a pressing need to improve our financial situation. Facebook Marketplace seemed like a possible answer, but creating listings was eating up hours of our time. While tinkering with current LLM APIs, I realized we could automate the most time-consuming parts of selling used items. QuickList started as a simple tool that I loaded on my partner's phone as a development build. After testing for a few weeks, friends started asking to use it. So I polished it up, added features like AR measurements for furniture and a discovery mode for identifying valuable items, and somehow made it through the App Store. I wanted simplicity and directness to guide the app throughout, creating a straightforward user experience: • Snap photos → Get near-instant, detailed listings • AR measurements for large items • Discovery mode to identify valuable finds • Track your selling progress It's focused on one thing: making it ridiculously easy to turn unused items into cash. I'm a continual tinkerer and love the process of building as much as (or more than) finishing products. While I think there's significant potential to expand (think Etsy/eBay integration), I wanted to launch now before getting lost in endless scope creep! If you have a chance to check it out, I'd love to know: - Have you ever resold items online? What was your experience? - What's your biggest pain point when selling used items? - Which marketplace do you use most often? - What features would make this a must-have for you
