👋 Hey Product Hunt, I first want to thank @chrismessina for the hunt! 👨‍💼👨‍💼 QR.io has 2 founders, Lucas Maldonado & Franco Maldonado. We have been developing sites and apps since 2017 and after a lot of businesses built we know that businesses approach is soon to be completely changed with this amazing and super fast QR Codes. ⚙️ QR.io is a tool that will help you generate QR Codes with color, shape & logo. It will also keep track of how many people scan them, from what country, city and operating system. 🦠 We started QR.io right when the covid pandemic started. Social distancing made it very hard for businesses to work and to engage with customers, so we started to see QR codes appear in restaurants, gyms, clothing stores and many more. 👨‍💻 Most of the QR Codes I saw on the street were ugly and hard to understand after you scan it. We knew that we could help knowing our background with coding software so we started right away. Thanks for taking your time, I hope you love the product as much as we do 😀

@francomaldonado Hello Franco, don't really know if you have had already think about this but I just had the idea to place a "{...}" button on every QR we create through the UI so we can just click that button to open a pop-up with the generated JSON and just by clicking over it copy the JSON, that way we can easily replicate the design to use it on the API programmatically, this feature would be amazing! :)

@francomaldonado Btw, by implementing this feature it can also help you to incentive free users to upgrade if you show them the button with a premium badge over it, could be a star, a crown, a diamond or a similar icon to let them know this would be a premium feature, you get the idea ;)

Help. I was recommended this product on the $39 lifetime deal for a dynamic trackable QR code. I did the trial for 2 days then signed up. Now my whole design that I archived has disappeared and it wants me to pay more to be able to create a new one. I'm very worried that I've been conned as I emailed the contact form yesterday and have had no reply. I also tried the live chat which didn't work. I need to send off my new business cards asap today and am worried as I don't want to lose another $39. Someone I know has suggested that I had to sign up for the $39 before doing the free trial but I can't find anything that says this unless it's hidden in the small print. Can anyone advise me if this is the case and it will work if I sign up for the $39 in a new email and design a new QR code? Has anyone had any experience with their customer service? I'm really hoping they are just slow as it says there is a 60 day money back guarantee, no reason, so I'm hoping it's as good as my friend said and I haven't been conned. Many thanks.

QR.io is an awesome tool to generate QR codes with distinctive themes and good looking borders. Also if you want to be able to change the destination of the QR code later, this is possible with the dynamic functionality, in this way you can always change to what url or what information the QR code actually points to, very handy. Also comes with statistics about who scanned the code and how may times it has been scanned.

Great simple but reliable tool, with responsive team building new features constantly. Only issue: horizontal folders, it's not logical. Please make them as vertical.
